Frequently Asked Questions

How much will it cost to fit a second bike or to get a refit?

If you get a second road or mountain bike fitted on the day it is only an additional €60. If you buy a new bike or bring back another bike at a later date Aidan will carry out a refit for €80 for a road bike or €90 for a TT bike.

How long does a bikefitting take?

The main fitting type 1 takes about one and a half hours. Bikefitting Type 2 takes approxiately two and a half hours.

Which type of fitting should I do – type 1 or type 2?

If you are new to cycling or cycling for leisure then type 1 should be fine. If you are racing or you intend to race then the advanced fit would be advisable.

What do I need to bring with me for the fitting?

Your bike, your cycling shoes, cycling jersey and cycling shorts.

I haven’t purchased a bike yet, can you fit me for a new bike purchase??

Yes, I use a bicycle jig that i can set to any frame size and geometry, crank lengths, handlebar size and stem size so we can easily work out what works well for you and make recommendations on bikes after.

What about Group / Club days?

Aidan will also do fittings with your club or group at your location. Min of 6 riders.
